Q : What should I do prior to login to the convocation system?
A :
  1. Before you log in, please ensure that you have the proof of payment ready with you. Please refer here for payment amount details.
  2. Please make sure you make the payment to the correct account and with the right method.Please refer here for account and method details.
  3. The proof of payment must be in *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.png, *.gif formats only.
    PDF (*.pdf) format is not allowed.
  4. Those who are unable to log in, please ensure you have settled all your outstanding university dues first. For further details, fill in the form at UCS portal

Q : How can I login into UTP Convocation System?
A : You have to login using your UTP ID for username and password

Q : What should I do if I am not attending the convocation ceremony?
A : You will still need to fill in the form in Attendance section in the system to confirm "not attending". You also need to complete and upload your tracer study.

Q : I have filled in the Attendance Form but my dashboard shows "Pending" status?
A : The "Pending" status is due to confirmation from Finance department regarding convocation payment. The status will automatically change to "Approved" status once Finance has confirmed the payment.

Q : I have completed my Convocation Attendance & Tracer Study but i need to change some info. How can I do this?
A : You can fill in the form at UCS portal .

Q : What is the account number to make the payment?
A : For Convocation Registration you can make the payment to CIMB account : 8004857910 (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS).

Q : What is the method to make the payment?
A : You can choose either using Internet Bankin1 or Cash payment at UTP Finance Counter.

Q : What should I do if i made payment to the wrong account?
A : You need to come to UTP finance counter and verify the payment to resolve this issue.

Q : What is the implication if I made the payment to the wrong account?
A : Your convocation attendance confirmation will be delayed.

Q : I have completed my registration and made payment. But I need to cancel it because I cannot attend. How can I cancel it? Will I get a refund?
A : You can fill in the form at UCS portal to cancel it. Unfortunately there will be no refund for cancellation.

Q : When do I need to come to collect my convocation robe?
A : You need to collect your convocation robe starting from 11 - 15 November 2019 at Undercroft, Chancellor Complex, UTP.

Q : When and where do I need to return my convocation robe?
A : You need to return your convocation robe starting from 17 - 20 November 2019. You can proceed to Main Hall. Please refer here for more details.

Q : Where do I go to collect my convocation robe?
A : Make sure you know which session you will be attending (Please refer here). For morning session, please proceed to Seminar Room 1 and afternoon session, please proceed to Seminar Room 2. Please refer here for more details.

Q : What do I need to bring when I collect my convocation robe?
A : Please show your confirmation of registration email as proof of convocation registration. Please refer here for more details.

Q : Can I buy the convocation robe and how?
A : Yes but it is on case-to-case basis. Please send an e-mail to Tajul Ariffin.

Q : Can I get extra invitation card and car pass?
A : No. Each graduate is entitled to only 2 invitation cards and 1 car pass and there will be no extras available.

Q : Does the convocation fees include photography services?
A : No. Photography services is not included in the convocation fees. You may visit the photography services booth during robe collection for packages available.
